SDS was founded in 2006 by two registered landscape architects with collectively over 35 years of professional experience. SDS opened an office in the Arcadia neighborhood in 2008.

Timothy A. Britain, ASLA, LEED AP, CLARB holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Michigan State University and is a Registered Landscape Architect in the state of Michigan.  Tim has over 18 years of professional experience in a wide variety of project types including multi-family housing, commercial, higher education, K-12, and municipal.  Tim is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and immediate past president of the Michigan Chapter. Tim is nationally certified by the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) and is also a LEED Accredited Professional.

Woodrow S. Isaacs III, ASLA, CPSI, CLARB also holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Michigan State University and is a Registered Landscape Architect in the state of Michigan.  Woody also has over 18 years of professional experience, primarily in the areas of K-12 and professional office development.  Woody is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, is nationally certified by the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB), and is also a Certified Playground Safety Inspector.

We offer personal service with principals working directly on your projects. When you need answers, you will discuss issues with the partners.
